Tripcairn

Terms of use

Last updated October 23, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Victor Andrew Pan Xian ("we", "us") about using Tripcairn ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Questions: victorpanxian@gmail.com.

1. What the app is

Tripcairn helps you plan trips: copy ready-made trips, draft or change plans with AI, keep track of what to book, and follow your plan while you travel. It's free to use, with monthly limits on AI features that we may change.

2. Plans are suggestions; check before you go

Trips, AI answers, opening hours, prices, travel times and costs in the app are estimates and suggestions. AI can make mistakes, and places change. Before you book or travel, check the details that matter yourself, including opening days and hours, prices, transport, visa and passport rules, health and safety advice, and local laws. You're responsible for your own travel decisions.

3. Bookings are with other companies

We're not a travel agent and don't sell travel. Booking links take you to other companies' websites; anything you book is between you and that company, under their terms and prices. We may earn a commission when you book through a link, which never changes your price.

4. Using the app fairly

Please don't misuse the app: don't try to get around the free limits (for example by automating requests or creating many anonymous IDs), don't copy the app's content in bulk, don't interfere with the service, and don't use the AI features for anything illegal or harmful. We may limit or stop access for misuse.

5. What you share

If you share a trip, review or other content with other travelers (when that's available), you keep ownership of it and give us permission to show it in the app. Only share what you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, hateful or misleading. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

6. The app's content

The app, its design and our ready-made trips belong to us. Photos are credited to their authors and used under their licenses. You may use the app for your own personal trips.

7. No guarantees

The app is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and running, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or right for your trip. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties.

8. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by following suggestions in the app, by bookings with other companies, or by things outside our control. Our total liability to you is limited to US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you; nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.

9. Ending

You can stop using the app any time and delete your data (Profile › Your data). We may change or end the app or these terms; if we change the terms in an important way, we'll tell you in the app.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, United States, unless the law where you live says otherwise. Apple is not responsible for the app or these terms; if you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard terms for apps also apply.
